Akshay Kumar, The Khiladi of Bollywood now days facing a lot of criticism in the film industry. as soon as the teaser of his much-awaited YRF biggie was released on YouTube, it received mixed to negative responses from the people who watched the teaser. they had one major complaint from the star that he did not give enough time to this magnum opus film, as per them he treated this film like any other film which he completes usually in 30 to 45 days.
other section of the audience who watched the teaser or the trailer of the film Prithviraj had the opinion that he was a misfit for the role. all these made a negative impact on the film which hampered its box office collection. although people who had really watched the movie in the theater had changed their opinion about the miscasting of the actor.
According to a few reports some names were involved in targeting the actor and were keen to harm his reputation and the film, after a month of its release he is still being targeted in one way or the other, this makes us really wonder why some people are behind of him.
The actor has given numerous memorable performances in films like Airlift, Padman, Special 26, Baby, OMG: Oh My God!, all these are films which had fabulous performances from him. who could forget his comedy films which are being rewatched now and are called classics such as bhagam bhaag, Phir Hera pheri, Singh is king, welcome, khatta meetha, etc. his upcoming film Raksha Bandhan Directed by Aanand L. Rai is slated to release on 11th August, it would be interesting to see how the film fares at the box office and the audience's expectations.
