Finally, there's a ray of hope again for Bollywood, and this time for all the good reasons. Talking about Laal Singh Chaddha whose trailer was revealed 2 months ago, received a mixed response from the viewers, as they expected better adaption since the team took 4 years to make this movie and is finally up for the release and will face a clash with Akshay Kumar Starrer Raksha Bandhan. according to our sources, the team had never thought they would receive disappointing reactions from the audience, our source further explains it was Amir khan's decision to release the trailer two months before the release, as he was confident about the product and thought would be in the interest of the movie and will garner huge buzz, but that did not click well with the audience.
so after this, they decided to promote it well, but this time taking different paths, they decided to go on the shows which are rare for Amir Khan and when this was also not working they tried to ace the game by showing the movie to the Pan India Famous directors and actors, having special shows across south also, which then turned the whole game in its favor somehow.

Talking about Akshay Kumar starrer Raksha Bandhan, this time there is no such pressure on the team as the film has less budget as compared to other releases of him like Prithviraj and Bachhan Pandey. this time the trailer was well received by the audience and even its music album also looks like a perfect family treat. one this which is applaudable is that this is the 5th release of Akshay Kumar within 10 to 11 months but then also it is not much behind Laal Singh Chaddha which is coming after 4 years of gap. Akshay Kumar's previous releases have suffered losses, but what is good for him is that both Bachchan Pandey and Prithviraj worked well in mass centers for any Bollywood movie released this year barring Bhool Bhilaiyaa 2. yet again the team is promoting it well by city tours which are garnering positive buzz both for Raksha Bandhan and Akshay Kumar himself. he is gaining his mass audience belt well again after Rowdy Rathore, Gabbar is back.
Now Talking about the advance booking interestingly it is Akshay Kumar's Raksha Bandhan is having a slight edge over Laal Singh Chadha in mass centers which will continue during the whole holiday season and is also not much behind it in the multiplex. Laal Singh Chaddha overall has sold more tickets than Raksha Bandhan but the South belt has a major contribution to that. to sum up, both are getting better as it is nearing the release date, till now the scenario is better. all should not be up to advance booking only as we had seen with 83 movies where the advance booking was 8cr but 1st collection was 12cr+. so the content matters more now.
